Business Development Manager

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a business plan to establish and grow Vernost s MICE business, including meetings, conferences, incentives, and exhibitions.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the corporate and events industry, develop relationships with key clients, and drive MICE sales growth.
Operations Management: Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with hotels, conference centers, transportation services, and other relevant vendors.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of MICE professionals, ensuring effective operations and adherence to company standards.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the MICE division, including cost control, revenue targets, and profitability.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients and event organizers to secure repeat business and positive referrals.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all regulations related to event management and travel. Provide regular performance updates to senior management on the division s financial and operational metrics.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
10+ years of experience in the MICE industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong network within the corporate, hospitality, and event management industries.
Proven track record of growing and managing a successful MICE business.
Excellent negotiation, sales, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
