Manual Tester / Product Tester Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester / Product Tester to ensure the quality and functionality of our products before release. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring that our software or product meets user expectations and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute test cases based on product requirements.
• Perform manual testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Identify, report, and track bugs and defects using tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello).
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and improve testing strategies.
• Conduct functional, usability, exploratory, compatibility, and performance testing.
• Ensure product compliance with business needs and quality standards.
• Provide feedback to improve the user experience (UX) and functionality.
• Document test results and create test reports for stakeholders.
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support release activities.
