Job Role: SAP ABAP Consultant

Experience: Total ABAP experience: 6+yrs, Minimum fiori Development exp: 2+yrs

Location: Hyderabad

NP: Immediate - 30 days

Mode: Hybrid, 3 days in a week or 12 days in a month from office

Shifts: Weekly rotational shifts include night shifts

Role and Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick identification and resolution of application issues while providing timely solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop and test high-complexity programs, and ensure quality code with proper documentation.
• Perform performance tuning, monitor system scalability and availability, and ensure seamless integration while meeting SLAs.
• Assist in resolving production support issues, suggest alternative solutions, and manage operational support, including on-call duties and change window tasks.
• Engage with technical teams for solution deployment, mentor junior developers, and conduct quality assurance activities like peer reviews.

Desired Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV), SmartForms, Adobe Forms, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and Enhancements.
• Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPs): Expertise in ABAP classes, methods, inheritance, and polymorphism.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and performance tuning techniques for HANA-based systems.
• Experience with IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData and SAP Gateway.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP Fiori development is mandatory.
• Exposure to Fiori/UI5, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming), and ABAP in Cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create detailed technical specifications.
• Knowledge of SCP (SAP Cloud Platform) or SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) or Javascript development.
