Business Intelligence Analyst II

TE Connectivitys Business Intelligence Teams are responsible for the processing, mining and delivery of data to their customer community through repositories, tools and services.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will focus on Design, Develop and Maintaining Data driven solutions to support business reporting and analytics needs. This position requires expertise in advanced Excel, Advanced SQL Querying, Tableau dashboard development and automation of reporting processes. The candidate will play a critical role in Integrating data from multiple systems, analyzing it and delivering actionable insights.
To enhance data integration, reporting and analysis by developing automated and scalable solutions ensuring seamless data integration, BI tools and scripting to support meeting the Organization requirements efficiently improving operational efficiency.

Database Querying and Analysis:
Write, Optimize and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures and views for data extraction and transformation from relational databases
Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues to ensure efficient querying
Colloborate with database administrators to maintain data integrity and optimize query performance
Ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency of the data used in reporting.
Extract, transform and load (ETL) data from diverse data sources, including ERP systems, flat files and cloud platforms.
Design robust data models to support advanced analytics and predictive modelling
Integrate data from multiple systems to create a unified view for business reporting

Tableau Dashboard Development and Report Automation:
Design and develop Interactive visually appealing Tableau dashboards to provide actionable insights with a good User Experience feel
Automate data extraction, and reporting processes using Tableau Prep and Scripting languages (Python, VBA, or R)
Work with stakeholders to identify KPIs and translate business requirements into intuitive dashboards.
Optimize dashboards for performance and ensure alignment with end-user needs and organizational objectives.

Report Automation and Process Optimization:
Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using tools like Power Automate, Python, or VBA
Identify opportunities for streamlining data collection, integration and reporting processes
Develop reusable scripts and tools to enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
Document processes and create user guides for automated solutions.
Evaluate and implement industry best practices to continuously improve data and business intelligence processes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Act as a key resource for resolving data-related issues and ensuring data accuracy.
Stay updated with emerging BI tools, data integration techniques and analytics trends
Ability to quickly understand and navigate in TE digital database architecture and TE digital toolset
Develop and maintain weekly / monthly global reporting dashboard for Engineering related KPIs, maintain reporting accuracy, participate in data related projects such as system migration, customization projects.

Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or information science or equivalent) or related technical field
3 to 5 years of Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis and Report Automation
SQL and Advanced Excel Expertise: Advanced Proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, joins and subqueries, Python, Power Query, Dynamic SQL Query, MYSQL, stored procedures, database optimization
BI Tools: Strong expertise in Tableau (including Tableau Prep) and dashboard development and knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
Automation: Hands-on experience with Python, VBA, Scripting languages for automation
Database Integration: Hands on experience with ETL tools, data modeling.
Strong aptitude to Problem Solving, Self-Motivated and Organized with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and Exposure to Product Development environment is an added advantage
Knowledge of AI Driven Solutions, Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics is preferred
