QA/QC Engineer(Civil, Cement Plant)

Candidate must have experience of working in CEMENT PLANT into QA/QC

2 Positions (5-10 yrs, and 10-15 yrs)

Role & responsibilities

.1 Consultant shall be fully responsible for all type of Inspections such as Stage Inspection, Final

Inspection, Routine/Acceptance tests and Type Tests wherever applicable as per approved Quality

Plans (QPs) and other documents agreed between Owner and Suppliers/Manufacturers, Field QA / QC

Services for various sites within India / HO at Ahmedabad and Field Quality Assurance (FQA) Services

during erection / operations & maintenance at various sites as per the approved Field Quality Plan (FQP)

and other documents. The Scope of Consultant would also include reviewing all quality documents of

the Suppliers/Manufacturers with respect to adequacy of technical requirement associated with the

project items and equipment to ensure compliance with the terms of project.

1.2 The inspection by Consultant shall be as per approved quality plan, but not limited to following:

1.2.1 Entry and Exit call to client by the attending surveyor is mandatory.

1.2.2 Verification of Calibration status of test equipment to be used by the manufacturers for testing of

equipment.

1.2.3 Verification of manufacturers Quality Control records / log sheets to ensure compliance as per agreed

Quality plans (QPs) and other documents.

1.2.4 Check during stages of manufacturing / assembly etc. at manufacturers / sub-vendors premises,

wherever applicable.

1.2.5 Examination of special manufacturing practices with emphasis on special processes like Heat

treatment, Impregnation and Dry out process of Insulations, Galvanization etc. in respect of

equipment considered for stage inspections.
