QML Engineer/Lead - Embedded System (4-10 yrs)

Role and Responsibilities :

As Senior Engineer :

- Verify & Validate the requirements of the product towards implementation.

- Develop the design for the functional product requirements / features.

- Provide estimations for the development activities.

- Implement the features according to the requirement specifications.

- Develop the Unit test cases to ensure use case scenarios are handled well.

- Ensure the code quality is maintained using the various tools used in Code review, static and dynamic code analysis tools.

- Analyze and fix the issues in the implemented code.

- Own the end-end completion of the assigned feature development as per agile cycle.

As Lead :

- Interact with customer interface of architects and product owners to understand & develop a plan for the implementation of the features.

- Ensure that design aspects of the application are well defined with required clarity.

- Work on managing the work item as backlogs and plan them for completion according to the delivery plan based on agile mode of working, sprint planning and execution.

- Involve in review of work products shared by customer as well as the work products of the engineering the team (Code review, UT etc.

- Assist the team in technical aspects, evaluation of the work and guiding the team members on implementation, unit testing and feature closure inline with the expectations of the customer's requirements.

- Evaluate estimations, projections, and delivery timelines.

- Own the end-end completion of the assigned feature development as per agile cycle.

- Drive any other additional activity that shall add value to the customer.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

Must Have :

- Engineering graduate with 4 to 10 years of experience in Embedded systems/applications.

- Should have good experience in developing embedded applications using QML.

- Hands on expertise in using Model View, Signal/Slot/QML Widgets including table view/List View/Grid View etc.

- Expertise in integrating widget with Qt/C++ backend.

- Working expertise of QML Profiling & performance improvement is must.

- Any prior experience in QML application development in medical domain would be a value add.

- Should have working exposure in tools like Rally, Jira, Collobrator, Coverity, Valgrind tools.

- Should be very good in Verbal & Written Communication.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
