The Fiber Planner will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient rollout of fiber optic infrastructure, optimize network performance, and contribute to the expansion of our telecommunication services.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Design & Planning:
Develop the HLD/WOCS document based onrequirements from customers. Maintain detailed records of fiber plans, designs,and any modifications to ensure accurate project tracking and future reference.Quality & SLA as per the requirements to be followed.
Bill of Quantities (BoQ):
Prepare and manage BoQs for fiber optic network installations, including accurate listings of all materials, labor, and services required for projects.

Bill of Materials (BoM):
Develop detailed BoMs for fiber optic network projects, specifying materials, quantities, part numbers, and manufacturers. Ensure that the BoM is kept up to date as changes in design or materials occur.

Quality Control:
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Asbuilt documentation and material lists. Perform quality checks to ensure the BOQ and BoM align with the design and actual project delivery.

Fibre Audit:
Identifying potential issues, and ensuring thesystems are updated and maintained to meet the latest details as per field andvice versa. Coordinate with Field Engineers to get the necessary details andensure that all updates are implemented efficiently and accurately.
Asbuilt Records:
Update and maintain accurate Asbuilt documentation after fiber optic network installations are completed. Ensure the Asbuilt reflects actual network configurations, including fiber routes, splice points, equipment locations, and any deviations from the original design.
Coordinate with field teams and contractors to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.

Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skillsfor generating reports and interacting with teams and stakeholders.
GIS & Reports:
Experience with network management tools, GISsoftware, and reporting tools. Role & responsibilities
