Test Engineer

Experience : 3 to 6 years

Skills:

Mandatory Technical Skills:

1. Solid understanding of Test process: Requirement analysis, Test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to stakeholders for testing services
2. Expert level testing of REST APIs and Microservices
3. Hands-on experience on Docker, Kubernetes and AWS environment
4. Should be able to prepare test automation scripts (JMeter, Selenium, Postman)
5. The Tester is responsible for debugging API issues and working with development teams to resolve them
6. Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python.
7. Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation.

Activities: Candidate will participate in following activities:

1. Design software test cases based on customer specifications and requirements.
2. Develop automated test scripts for testing REST APIs and Microservices.
3. Execute both manual and automated testing, and raise defects as needed.
4. Perform all levels of testing, including functional, performance, load, integration, and system testing

Nice to have technical skills:

1. Domain knowledge of Retail industry.
2. Relevant software testing certifications include Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB Agile Tester Certification

Soft Skills:

1. Good communication.
2. Effective team player.
3. Very high ownership of deliverables in terms of schedule and quality.
