Senior Director Finance - Fortune 100 MNC

The Position:

- Lead financial planning and forecasting for the global, multi-industry business.

- You will be responsible for reporting results and analyzing business performance, including the preparation of executive level communications and presentations.

- This role reports directly to the VP Chief Financial Officer and is based in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial aspects of the planning cycle: Strategic Plan (STRAP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

- Identify performance trends within the business

- Identify and quantify risks and opportunities in current plans and forecasts

- Develop and drive a wide range of financial analyses focused on business trends and evaluation of business performance, projections, reports, and presentations for senior management

- Establish clear, consistent reporting and operating processes - ensuring accurate and timely data availability and insightful, thorough analysis

- Prepare and provide information for presentations for the CTO and CFO

- Play a critical role in the evolution of Honeywell's overall financial information program, including areas such as management reporting, data management and related systems and processes

- Oversee and lead the work of other team members

- Special projects as required

Key Qualifications:

- 18+ years of finance experience

- Experience driving cross-functional strategic initiatives involving senior leaders (AOP, STRAP, etc.)

- Strong people management skills

- Degree in finance/accounting

- Significant FP&A, ISC, or commercial finance experience

- Enterprise software finance experience

- Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions to business problems without supervision

- Strong analytical and problems solving skills

- Finance system and reporting experience

- Exceptional analytical skills (linking results to drivers)

- Strong project management skills with ability to direct work both inside and outside of person's supervisory area

- Proactive, ability to use own initiative and take lead to devise creative solutions

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and assertive individual

- Ability to make consistent and timely decisions

- Knowledge of Advanced Excel, Power Point
