Urgent Opening of AGM - Compliance (GST & Customs)

Role & responsibilities

1. Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-2A, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9, payment of taxes, and maintenance of records
2. Reconciliation of Accounting record with GST portal
3. Drafting of reply to notice etc from the GST authorities
4. Liaison with Tax Authorities, respond to notices, and represent the organization in GST-related matters.
5. Liaison with tax consultant
6. Handle GST Audit and ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, tax authorities, and team members.
8. GST related MIS of compliances & litigations & open issues
9. Expert knowledge of GST portal, reconciliations etc.
10. Coordination with purchase dept / vendors for timely input credit availability
11. Trouble shooting in case of problem in invoice / e-way bill generation from GST portal

Preferred candidate profile

The person should have minimum experience of 15 years. Past experience of Excise/ Service tax regime will be an advantage.

Location : Pipavav

Reporting to DGM Indirect Taxation

Since most of interaction will be with Gujarat GST dept, knowledge of Gujarati language is Must.
