Senior Specialist - Procurement (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Execute sourcing strategies that align in conjunction with the WSP Stakeholders - Source and engage vendors for IT, fleet and Shared Services, driving strategic sourcing initiatives and RFQ/RFPs to fulfill business requirements and drive commercial value.

- Facilitate negotiations and achieve optimal price/performance and price/quality ratio to deliver maximum value and savings.

- Performs all duties in accordance with Organizational policies / procedures and prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.

- Ability to partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers, execute sourcing /negotiations strategies aligning them with future corporate strategy.

- Periodical Procurement and Spend based reporting to the key stakeholders - highlighting key matrices and cost trends/Insights across different business segments.

- Proactively manage vendors through the contract lifecycle by monitoring their fulfilment of obligations and by performing benchmarking through scorecards, performance metrics and other tools.

- Co-ordinate the day-to-day assignment of requests received in ME - Procurement.

Experience & Skills:

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Purchasing and/or vendor management with a successful track record of completing RFx events, negotiations and cost saving initiatives.

- Expertise in sourcing of IT (Hardware/Software/Telecom), Fleet and other shared services etc.

- Contract Management, understanding of contract lifecycles.

- Proven records to manage vendors through contract management.

- Supplier Relationships Management and supplier Negotiations.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Must be organized, detail oriented, responsive and be able to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
