Procurement Officer

Responsibilities:

• Supplier Sourcing and Selection:
• Identify potential suppliers through research and networking.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on factors like quality, cost, and delivery time.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) Processes:
• Prepare and issue RFPs and RFQs to solicit bids from suppliers.
• Evaluate proposals and select the most suitable supplier.
• Contract Negotiation and Management:
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor contract performance and resolve any issues.
• Purchase Order Processing:
• Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels and identify procurement needs.
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and avoid stockouts.
• Cost Control and Reduction:
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations and process improvements.
• Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs.
• Supply Chain Management:
• Manage the entire supply chain, from sourcing to delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any supply chain disruptions.
