Emulation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Emulation-Based Functional Verification: Perform emulation-based functional verification, including defining test plans and developing test content for complex designs.
• Model Compilation & Debugging: Understand and manage emulation model compilation and perform waveform debugging to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Test Plan Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans that cover the scope of the verification process.
• Emulator Operations: Work with Palladium and Zebu emulators, ensuring that the emulation environment is well-configured and performing optimally.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts using Python and TOL to automate tasks and improve the verification process.
• Verification of Designs: Assist in verifying complex designs and systems with a focus on performance, functionality, and correctness.
• Understanding Protocols: Work with designs involving protocols like AXI and potentially PCIE.
• System Verilog Knowledge: Utilize your basic understanding of System Verilog for verification tasks and collaborate with teams to implement best practices.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in emulation-based functional verification, particularly with Palladium and Zebu emulators.
• Verilog Expertise: Strong understanding of Verilog and experience in working with emulation model compilation.
• Waveform Debugging: Experience in debugging using waveform debugs to identify and resolve issues.
• Scripting Skills: Hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python and TOL.
• Protocol Knowledge: Basic understanding of AXI. Knowledge of PCIE is a plus.
• System Verilog: Basic understanding of System Verilog.
