Relationship Officer

Job Purpose:

Acquire trader clients, execute transactions in equity, currency, and commodity markets, disseminate research insights, and generate revenue via broking, structured products, and third-party product sales like Mutual Funds, Loans, and Insurance. This role is a client-facing position pivotal in driving revenue generation and ensuring adherence to operational, compliance, and risk guidelines in a highly competitive and regulated broking environment.

Job Context & Challenges:

The Equity Advisor is responsible for:

• Acquiring high-margin trader clients.
• Executing equity (cash and derivatives), currency, and commodity transactions.
• Efficiently managing customer orders and ensuring smooth branch operations.
• Generating leads and selling third-party products (e.g., Insurance, SIPs, Mutual Funds).
• Coordinating with internal teams (RMS, Activation, Surveillance) for seamless operations.
• Approving limits and promoting the shift of offline clients to online platforms.

Key Result Areas:

1. Client Acquisition & Revenue: Achieve targets, ensure profitability, and meet trading volume benchmarks.
2. Trade Execution: Operate trading platforms (Equity, F&O, Currency), ensure KYC, and manage trade risks.
3. Client Activation: Onboard new clients, transition them to online platforms, and re-engage dormant accounts.
4. Cross-Selling Products: Promote Mutual Funds, Insurance, and other offerings to meet financial goals.
5. Compliance & Risk Management: Follow SEBI guidelines, confirm trades, and secure client margins.
