Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   
• Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient health conditions.
• Assist in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility as needed.
2. Documentation:
   
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
3. Collaboration:
   
• Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education about treatments and procedures.
4. Emergency Response:
   
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including administering first aid and preparing patients for emergency interventions.
• Operate medical equipment and follow emergency protocols.
5. Infection Control:
   
• Follow strict infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure proper sterilization and handling of medical equipment.
6. Training and Development:
   
• Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on medical practices, technologies, and protocols.
• Mentor and guide junior nursing staff and trainees.
