Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Senior Accountant

1. Responsible for smooth functioning of Accounts Department
2. To guide, educate and supervise Team Members of the Department.
3. To pass entries and maintain account books in Tally.
4. To maintain all vouchers in Tally - payments and receipts
5. To reconcile bank statements BRS
6. To Audit the accounts of the Organisation.
7. To finalise and file statutory returns as and when required.
8. To maintain donor-wise fund utilization in Tally
9. To disburse employees salaries.
10. To make statutory payments PF, ESI and TDS and any other in liaison with HR.
11. To execute cheque payments to vendors and others.
12. Checking of payments by cash transactions done by accounts assistants,
13. Petty cash verification and credit of donation to be checked on a daily basis.
14. Grant-in-aid work every month.
15. Prayatna stock verification and audit, stores account checking.and maintaining Tally software.
