Job Title: Performance Test Lead

Responsibilities:

Performance Test Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy aligned with project and organizational objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance testing goals, scenarios, and success criteria.

Performance Test Planning and Design:
Develop detailed performance test plans based on system requirements and architecture.
Design realistic and scalable performance test scenarios that mimic real-world usage patterns.

Performance Test Execution:
Lead the execution of performance tests, including load, stress, and scalability testing.
Monitor and analyze system performance metrics during test execution to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.

Tool Selection and Implementation:
Evaluate, select, and implement performance testing tools that meet project requirements.
Configure and maintain performance testing tools to ensure accurate and repeatable test results.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to understand system architecture and dependencies.
Communicate performance test results, findings, and recommendations to project stakeholders.

Performance Tuning and Optimization:
Work with development teams to identify and implement performance optimizations.
Provide recommendations for system improvements based on performance test results.

Capacity Planning:

Collaborate with system architects and administrators to perform capacity planning and resource allocation based on performance test results.

Scripting and Automation:
Develop and maintain performance test scripts and scenarios.
Implement automation where applicable to enhance the efficiency of performance testing processes.

Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation related to performance testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:
Proven experience (4 to 6 years) in performance testing, with a focus on designing and executing performance test scenarios.
Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Solid understanding of web technologies, databases, and distributed systems.
Good in tracking performance metrics & measures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
ISTQB or similar certification in performance testing is a plus
