Profile Description: Siemens Teamcenter Techno-Functional Consultant

Experience of around 10 – 12 years with strong background in Siemens Teamcenter & Java/J2ee/C/C++ applications development. Good knowledge on design patterns for web applications using rich GUI – React, Angular JS and HTML 5 etc. Self-driven and aware of the latest technologies and components available and implementing them in building new solutions.
Siemens Teamcenter Knowledge

• In depth understanding of Siemens Teamcenter both technically and from functional perspective
• Hands-on experience on Siemens Teamcenter installation, configuration, extensions, customizations, data migration & building integrations
• Good understanding of discrete manufacturing / automotive domain
• Ability to understand business requirements and provide architecture & solutions to customer on the platform (Teamcenter)
• An ability to play business analyst role to drive customer towards achieving their business goals and implementing the same on the platform.
• Good hands-on experience with Teamcenter administrator, BMIDE, AWC configuration, ITK, SOA/RAC customization, CAD integration, Active workspace, U&M.
• Experience in implementing Teamcenter for a customer in automotive & manufacturing domain would be an advantage.

Key Technologies / Desired Skills

• SOA/ Web Services - REST
• Database Concepts Knowledge – Oracle and MSSQL Server.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps tools
• Understanding of automation testing tools like Junit, Selenium & Cucumber
• API interface tools like postman/swagger

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Preparing design specifications for a Teamcenter application – functional and technical
2. Defining performance benchmarks
3. Define the application architecture and components selection.
4. Analyze and understand the existing IT landscape of customer.
5. Define Integration Strategy: Help customer design the flow and characteristics of interface requirements. Define high level plan and strategy for interfaces development & deployment.
6. Define High Level interface design specifications – with data communication, data triggers, data translation rules, data sets and mappings to other system elements.
7. Define data conversion strategy - Identify data conversion needs for the data flowing from the various systems before it is fed to the Teamcenter system.
8. Define data migration needs, strategy, and migration approach for bringing in data into Teamcenter.

Required Experience
Experience with engineering software deliveries with exposure in designing business critical applications, enterprise technical architecture and defining architectural roadmaps.
Exposure to various data migration and integration architecture and approaches
Worked in Agile sprints.
Worked in coordination with other onsite Product / Customer teams.
