Amdocs requires a Software Engineer (Java developer) for its software development team in Gurgaon. The role entails:
- Strong Java programming.
- Software design and development according to business requirements.
- Improvement of our underlying frameworks
- Continuous integration, unit testing, defect resolution, and peer reviews.
What will your job look like
A high degree of excellence with Java version 7/8 (2-4 years of commercial experience is required).
The candidate must be well versed with following technologies:
Object-oriented software design
Localization concepts
Unit integration testing
Subversion, Bitbucket including branching methodologies
Unix/Linux Environment
Web Services (SOAP), REST, Web Sockets
Apache Unity Framework
Exposure/working experience of micro services
Exposure of developing cloud native products/projects
Expertise of SQL queries Oracle19c/PostgreSQL16.x/17x
The candidate must be well versed with following technologies:
Object-oriented software design
Localization concepts
Unit integration testing
Subversion, Bitbucket including branching methodologies
Unix/Linux Environment
Web Services (SOAP), REST, Web Sockets
Apache Unity Framework
Exposure/working experience of micro services
Exposure of developing cloud native products/projects
Expertise of SQL queries Oracle19c/PostgreSQL16.x/17x
Preferences :
EJB/Websocket
Exposure/hands-on Life-ray
Micro Services
Agile DevOps exposure
Experience on integration with systems in the financial domain ( e.g. credit card systems, identity management, payment gateways, Western Union etc.)
Experience on an agile team using Scrum, XP, Crystal, etc.
Experience on SOAP/REST, ISO8583, Oauth2API etc. integration
Exposure of CI CD Pipeline
Agile DevOps working exposure
EJB/Websocket
Exposure/hands-on Life-ray
Micro Services
Agile DevOps exposure
