Sopra Steria - Senior Technical Lead - DevOps (6-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Authentication (OAuth2) :

- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex OAuth2 authentication issues, including token generation, expiration, and scope management.

- Design and optimize authorization flows between clients, APIs, and third-party services.

Azure Synapse Pipelines :

- Oversee the support and optimization of Azure Synapse Pipelines for data integration, transformation, and ETL processes.

- Resolve high-impact pipeline failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.

- Provide recommendations for best practices in configuring linked services and integration runtimes.

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) :

- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for AKS-based applications, focusing on pods, deployments, scaling, and networking.

- Monitor and proactively optimize AKS environments for performance and resource utilization.

- Conduct detailed root cause analyses and recommend long-term solutions for recurring issues.

Cloud Platform Expertise :

- Act as a subject matter expert for Azure cloud services, providing guidance and technical leadership to the team.

- Hands-on experience with Azure, including PowerShell and Bicep scripting for automation.

CI/CD and Version Control :

- Define and implement CI/CD best practices using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.

- Manage complex version control workflows using Git and provide mentoring on branching and merging strategies.

Scripting and Automation :

- Develop advanced scripts using Bash, Python, or Ruby to automate complex operational tasks.

- Review, optimize, and maintain existing automation scripts, ensuring they align with organizational standards.

Configuration Management and IaC :

- Lead the adoption of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency and reliability.

- Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Containerization and Orchestration :

- Provide expertise in managing Docker containers and Kubernetes environments, including advanced configurations and optimizations.

- Mentor team members on best practices for container orchestration and deployment strategies.

Leadership and Mentorship :

- Mentor L1 and L2 engineers, providing technical guidance and training.

- Participate in technical reviews, providing insights and feedback to improve team performance.

- Lead by example in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills :

- Advanced certifications in Azure (e.g Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert).

- Extensive experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a focus on driving proactive solutions.

- Experience Range : 6 -10 years in cloud and infrastructure support roles.

- Technical Expertise : Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, KQL, Python.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with global teams.
