HMC/CNC Programmer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAM software
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials.
• Create setups and fixture designs to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Simulate and verify tool paths to avoid errors, collisions, and tool breakage.
• Ensure programs run efficiently on HMCs and other CNC machines.
• Adjust machine parameters to improve accuracy and reduce cycle time.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and make necessary program modifications.
• Reduce tool wear and enhance surface finish through optimal cutting strategies
