Position Title: Oracle Webcenter Apps DBA

Required Experience: 6-8+ Years

Job Location: Preferred Pune, Delhi (Gurgaon or Noida).
Work Mode: Hybrid (Work from office 3 to 4 Days a week)
Work Timings/Shift: 01:30 PM - 10:30 PM

This position is for Oracle Webcenter Application Support role for day-to-day activities and integrations with sub-systems in the financial space with 6 to 8 years of experience in similar role/capacity. Securing systems with regular vulnerability patching and upkeep of Financial systems. His/her function is critical to the performance and stability of IT infrastructure hosting business critical applications and services on a 24/7/365 basis.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Lead the migration of on-premises Oracle Webcenter application and its Oracle Database 19c from Solaris to OCI.
• Design and implement OCI infrastructure for Webcenter, including provisioning and configuration of required services such as compute, storage, compartments and networking. This requires in-depth knowledge of OCI services, including VCN, Subnets, Service gateways, Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Oracle Cloud Autonomous Services, and others relevant to Webcenter infrastructure.
• Set up and administer Oracle Cloud services relevant to Webcenter, ensuring the architecture aligns with best practices for performance, scalability, and security.
• Handle day-to-day operational tasks within OCI, including but not limited to:
• Backup and recovery strategies.
• Database security, including encryption, access control, and auditing.
• Monitoring and performance tuning of Webcenter and databases.
• Patching, cloning, and applying updates to the Webcenter and Oracle Database environments.
• Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools for routine maintenance, backups, and other administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support application upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and other critical business processes.
• Ensure all systems adhere to OCI best practices for security and compliance, including implementing appropriate auditing and monitoring solutions.
• Support and Maintenance of Webcenter Applications.
• Installation & Configuration of Oracle Webcenter, integrate with Oracle EBS for its Imaging needs for AP and I/Expense Modules
• Upgrade Oracle Fusion Middleware products that include Webcenter Content Imaging, Webcenter Capture, Webcenter Forms Recognition, Weblogic, HTTP Server to the latest 12c versions.
• Implement and integrate Oracle Fusion Middleware products Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Web Center (IPM, UCM, SOA, BAM) with Oracle applications.
• Implement Load Balancers for Webcenter applications high availability and performance.
• Work with various interfacing teams during build of the application throughout SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Manage and Monitor the JVM Performance by adjusting WebLogic heap size and garbage collection parameters.
• Java upgrades on Webcenter Application Servers and involve in Browser testing for Java desktop updates.
• Configure Remote Scan stations and troubleshoot related issues.
• Configuring Runtime Components - RTS instance creation on Webcenter Forms Recognition Service Manager.
• Monitor and manage SOA Components by using the Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control Console to perform administrative tasks.
• Incident Management & Technical Assistance including Production and Performance diagnostics, technology assessments and troubleshooting day-to-day issues.
• Build POC environments to test compatibility of upgrades/fixes, implementation plans and pilot projects.
• Focus and deliver on continuous improvements and identify the areas of Automation
• Create necessary documentation to provide tailored and continuous support to deployed infrastructure components.
• Pro-actively work with Prod Support Team, Project Teams to provide planning and ongoing support for Application Life cycle management.
• Liaise with Performance Testing Team to identify any performance related issues during UAT phase.
• Weekend/Off Hours Maintenance activities and on-call Support for Production changes.
• Sanity testing of Webcenter applications on regular basis to avoid any Production Outages.
• Perform Annual DR Tests.
• Creating Severity TARs/SR and conduct OWC sessions with Oracle support to resolve issues.

Application Code Migrations

• WebCenter Code Migrations from Development to QA, UAT and Production Instances.
• Coordinate and work with Release/Change Management teams for deployments, Outages and code migrations across Prod and Non-Prod Environments.
• Release Non-Disruptive, Disruptive Migrations across Non-Prod and Prod Environments.

Security and Compliance

• Track Security Certificate expirations and request new certificates for Webcenter Applications.
• Work on Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates and user authentication.
• Track and remediate Security Vulnerabilities , apply Critical Security Patch updates for Webcenter Applications
• Generation of SOX Audit reports having all details of changes implemented on Prod Environments and sharing with Application Owners for required approvals.
• Work with D&T external Audit team and provide required EBS Application changes evidence for Audit related Queries.
• Knowledge Management and Team Engagement:..
• Create Knowledge Transfer documents for ongoing projects and issues & resolutions to maintain the repository of issues and resolutions.
• Anticipate business needs and provide inputs for solution.
• Perform CPR (Capacity Planning Reports) and discuss with Stakeholders for future infrastructural needs.
• Attend meeting with the team to keep them updated on the new developments and projects. Discussing the major issues and challenges.

MISC Support

• Liaise with MGTI UNIX Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Updates and Administration tasks on Solaris and Linux Servers.
• Liaise with MGTI Windows Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Update and Administration tasks on Windows Servers.
• Liaise with MGTI Storage Team on Space requests, File system Backups and Year-End Special Backups.
• Liaise with MGTI Network Team on Firewall Port Opening Requests, Load Balancers, And Virtual Ips.
• Liaise with MGTI Dcops for Monitoring and alert suppression.
• Coordinate and work with multiple MGTI Teams for Annual DR Tests.
• Full Understanding of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 architecture and processes with their individual configuration files & log files to trouble shoot issues with each component.
• Hands on Experience in Upgrading Webcenter products (IPM, UCM, SOA, BAM ) from 11g to 12c.
• Troubleshooting, Monitoring Webcenter Application Servers and services.
• Develop custom workflows and enforce/develop business rules.
• Sound Knowledge on Invoice end-to-end processing in Webcenter.
• Experience in configuring and managing security realm for users and groups.
• Implementation experience on Load Balancers for various applications for high availability and performance.
• Knowledge of Oracle APIs, interfaces, and development standards
• Provide senior-level technical troubleshooting on complex issues requiring rapid resolution related to Oracle WebCenter Content and WebLogic Server environments
• Expertise on Java Virtual memory (JVM) heap size performance fine-tuning
• User access provisioning for web verifier in Webcenter forms recognition.
• Good Knowledge on Project & Windows Authentication Security for WFR.
• Configure PGP Encryption, SSH Keys exchange for File transfers and Bank interfaces.
• Good Knowledge on scan/import documents into batches with in Capture workspaces.
• Demonstrated work experience on Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
• Hands on experience in configuring and supporting Webcenter Multi-node architecture for High availability.
• Solid knowledge and demonstrated support of Supercluster server, NFS, LDAP, and SAN/NAS storage systems in Engineered systems
• Knowledge of Oracle database and development tools (PL/SQL, SQL Plus, JDeveloper, Java, Oracle Application Framework, and JSP);
• Automation of day to day activities by using Python/Shell desired
• Hands on experience in WebLogic Installation and configuration, Administration and Performance tuning.
• Configuration and monitoring Middleware components through OEM.
• Enabling SSL or TLS on webcenter and import the security certificates.
• Performing Webcenter Application Pre-patch, Pre-config Analysis for Quarterly PSU and other required patches.
• Involve in automation of maintenance and monitoring jobs through Shell scripts and schedule them using Crontab and Autosys to run at regular intervals.

• Candidates must be flexible in terms of working hours due to the nature of the role
• Candidate is expected to work in 24X7 shifts (on a rotational basis)
• Weekends work duty is required whenever requests arise
• Proven ability to deliver on aggressive targets.

Desired Skills:

• Typically has 6+ years of experience in WebLogic middleware and WebCenter Imaging (Invoice Process) with SOA.

Education & Certifications:

• Degree in Computer Engineering field or related.
