Softude - Solution Architect - Salesforce Integration (5-6 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Solution Architect & Development Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions.

This role demands a strong technical leader who can translate business requirements into well-architected, customized solutions that maximize the Salesforce platform.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading development teams, implementing enterprise-level Salesforce applications, and effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Translate complex business requirements into robust and scalable Salesforce solutions.

- Analyze user needs, document requirements, and develop detailed system plans.

- Lead technical design sessions and create comprehensive solution documentation aligned with business objectives.

- Apply Salesforce best practices and technical/business expertise to design optimal solutions, including evaluating design trade-offs and communicating decisions effectively.

- Design and optimize business processes, ensuring seamless integration across disparate systems.

Salesforce Development & Implementation :

- Implement Salesforce solutions adhering to platform best practices, including custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), integrations with back-office systems (utilizing middleware tools), and complex data migrations.

- Develop custom solutions and interfaces on the Salesforce platform.

- Develop, test, debug, maintain, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration components.

- Utilize in-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API for seamless integrations.

- Extensive development experience using VisualForce, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch Apex, and other programmatic solutions.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship :

- Manage a team of Senior Developers, Consultants, and Analysts, providing guidance, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day direction.

- Assist in staffing consultants on client projects, aligning their skills with client needs, and supporting their career aspirations.

- Conduct performance feedback and annual review processes for direct reports.

- Build and lead Development and Delivery Leadership and Solution Owner assets (e. offerings, standard methodologies, white papers, learning curricula, etc.

Project Management & Delivery :

- Lead the development and delivery of enterprise-level Salesforce applications throughout the software product lifecycle.

- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects, adhering to established methodologies and best practices.

- Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems.

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge Required :

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of project experience in a hands-on technical leadership position.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Salesforce in a development or configuration capacity.

- Enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with major technology programs.

- Proven experience in defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform.

- Ability to understand and respond to customer needs, advocating for customer success.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team, demonstrating ownership of problems.

- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, capable of delivering workshops and strategizing at a C-level.

Professional/Technical Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce best practices using Apex and Visualforce.

- Extensive experience building integrations with Salesforce and third-party APIs.

- Proficiency in Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API.

- Solid understanding of Lightning Components and other modern Salesforce development technologies.

- Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle.
