Python Tester - API/Performance Testing (5-10 yrs)

Job Description.

Job Title : Python Tester (DB2).

Location : Bangalore.

Experience : 5-10 Years.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, focusing on API testing and performance testing.

- Utilize frameworks like Pytest and BDD to create robust and maintainable test cases.

- Conduct thorough data validation using various formats such as JSON, XLSX, CSV, and XML.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and develop test strategies accordingly.

- Execute performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.

- Analyze test results, report defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

- Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and testing tools.

- Document test cases, test plans, and reporting metrics to provide insights into testing progress and quality.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in automation testing with Python.

- Strong expertise in API testing and performance testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with Pytest and BDD frameworks.

- Good knowledge of data validation techniques using JSON, XLSX, CSV, and XML.

- Familiarity with DB2 or similar databases for testing and validation purposes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
