Functional Consultant - MS Dynamics AX7 (5-10 yrs)

Job Title : AX Functional Consultant

Location : Bangalore, Pune

Experience : 5-10 Years

Responsibilities :

- Lead and participate in full lifecycle AX/D365 implementations, from requirements gathering and design to configuration, testing, and deployment.

- This includes leading workshops, conducting user interviews, and managing project deliverables.

- Elicit and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solution designs for AX/D365.

- Document requirements clearly and concisely.

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Design and configure AX/D365 solutions to meet specific business needs, considering best practices, performance optimization, and integration with other systems.

- Develop detailed functional design documents.

- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in one or more AX/D365 modules (e.g , Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Retail, Project Management and Accounting).

- Specify preferred modules if applicable.

- Configure and customize AX/D365 using standard tools and techniques.

- Design and test integrations with other systems.

- Develop and execute test plans, ensuring the quality and accuracy of AX/D365 solutions.

- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide guidance to end-users during testing.

- Develop training materials and provide training and support to end-users on AX/D365 applications.

- Create user guides and knowledge base articles.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on AX/D365 solutions.

- Manage client expectations and communicate effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

- Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Track project progress and report to project stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 technologies and best practices.

- Continuously learn and expand your knowledge of new features and functionalities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 5-10 years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX (or D365 for Finance and Operations).

- Deep understanding of business processes related to specific AX/D365 modules.

- Extensive hands-on experience with AX/D365 configuration and customization.

- Strong knowledge of AX/D365 architecture and functionality.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are a plus
