SAP SD Consultant - Support & Implementation (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Elicit and analyze business requirements related to sales and distribution processes.

- Translate these requirements into functional specifications.

- Configure and customize the SAP SD module to meet business requirements. This includes pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and sales order processing.

- Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations, from blueprinting and design to testing, training, and go-live support.

- Experience with the Activate methodology is essential.

- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of SAP SD solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Develop and deliver user training materials and documentation.

- Provide post-implementation support.

- Work closely with other SAP modules (e., MM, FI) and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and efficient business processes.

- Identify and resolve complex issues related to SAP SD functionality.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

- Interact directly with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Required Skills :

- Deep understanding of core SAP SD processes, including :

1. Sales Order Processing

2. Pricing and Conditions

3. Delivery Processing and Shipping

4. Billing and Invoicing

5. Credit Management

6. Master Data (Material Master, Customer Master)

- Proven experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.

- Experience with the SAP Activate methodology is a MUST.

- Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing the SAP SD module.

- Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules, such as MM (Materials Management) and FI (Finance).

Preferred Skills (Bonus) :

- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA is a significant advantage.

- Basic understanding of ABAP for debugging and simple enhancements.

- Industry Experience : Experience working in a specific industry (e., manufacturing, retail) is a plus.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e., Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering).

- SAP SD Certification is preferred
