Process Engineer

At Simreka we help brands manufacturing consumer products and chemical companies launch new, safer, and sustainable products faster with our manufacturing R&D simulation platform. As a process engineer, you will play a key role in the further development of the simulation platform and delivery to customers who are manufacturing companies in a variety of domains. You will succeed in this role if you are a motivated individual driven by challenges and can bridge the gap between business requirements, mathematics, and software development to deliver results together with the whole team.

Your Skills:
Required
Expertise in modeling and simulation of processes and products
Strong background in Thermodynamics and Chemical Kinetics
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or a similar language
Preparation and reviewing of PFD
Evaluate current processes and optimize for safety, quality, and efficiency
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities
Process simulation using Aspen HYSYS, COMSOL, DWSIM, etc.

Additional
Sound technical knowledge, academically good
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in Life Cycle Assessment
Applied knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques
Deep understanding of future trends and technologies
Using scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering/ chemistry/ related fields
3+ years of experience in chemical engineering
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or a similar language
Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
