Senior Developer

We are seeking a Senior PHP Laravel FullStack Developer to join our growing team at Simreka. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in PHP (Laravel), MongoDB, and MySQL. This role involves designing and developing core application modules for Simreka's product stack, engaging with clients for requirement gathering and updates, and leading and mentoring other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Application Development:
Design, develop, and optimize robust, scalable, and maintainable application modules using PHP Laravel.
Implement database solutions using MongoDB and MySQL based on project requirements.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead a team of developers, ensuring best coding practices, code reviews, and performance optimization.
Provide technical guidance to junior developers and facilitate their growth.
Client Communication:
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
Translate technical concepts into client-friendly language when necessary.
Product Development:
Contribute to the architecture and development of Simreka's product stack.
Work closely with the product and design teams to implement new features and enhancements.
System Optimization:
Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement bug fixes.
Ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of the developed modules.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.
Report progress and challenges to management and key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
5+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 3 years using Laravel Framework.
Strong experience with MongoDB and MySQL for database design, queries, and optimization.
Proficient in API development, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js/React/ Nuxt.js (optional but preferred).
Experience with Python Programming will be an added advantage

Proven leadership ability to mentor and guide other developers.

Other Requirements:
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
