About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with a robust technical sales background to join our dynamic team.
- This role is pivotal in driving our growth by acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud solutions, SaaS, PaaS, automation technologies, and have a proven track record in field sales, preferably within the BFSI sector.
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Hunting and New Business Acquisition:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Key Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
- Understand clients' business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Proactively find upsell and cross sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Service Delivery & Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure seamless service implementation.
- Monitor project progress and address any client concerns or issues.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance and gather feedback.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by regular engagement.
Sales & Target Achievement:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Forecast sales accurately and provide regular updates to management.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share.
Field Sales:
- Conduct regular on-site visits to clients and prospects.
- Build and maintain a strong field presence within the target market.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Be able to travel as needed.
Client Acquisition & Retention:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain clients.
- Identify and address client pain points to enhance satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity within the sales team.
Technology Awareness:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud, SaaS, PaaS, automation, and other relevant technologies.
- Understand and articulate the value proposition of our technology solutions.
- Provide technical expertise to clients and internal teams.
CRM & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Generate regular sales reports and provide insights to management.
- Utilize CRM data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting.
Who Should Apply:
- 8-10 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably in IT services (cloud, SaaS, PaaS, automation, etc.
- Strong field sales experience with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in the BFSI sector is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud solutions, SaaS, PaaS, and automation technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
