Job Description :

Shift Time: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

1. Must have at least 7 years of experience in ABAP Development for WRICEF Objects including around 3 years of experience in ABAP Objects, BADIs for Web Dynpro development, Forms development using Web Dynpro ABAP, Smartforms, Adobe Interactive Forms.

2. Must have 3 project experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA (on-cloud or on-premise) implementation projects.

3. Prior experience working on SAP Support engagements in Manufacturing or Automotive industry would be highly preferred.

4. Possesses a solid understanding of various Web/form techniques using the latest technologies available.

5. Candidate must have the ability to grasp new technologies and quickly self-learn new applications to understand the technical requirements required in the project.

6. Must possess strong communication skills to front-end customer discussions using Design of RICEFW objects.

7. Must have strong analytical skills and teamwork approach consistently provide the clients with outstanding delivery.

8. Must have Archiving experience.

Roles and Responsibilities for SAP ABAP Webdynpro Consultant :

1. ABAP Development for WRICEF Objects :

- Development and Customization : Lead the design, development, and implementation of WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) using ABAP programming in SAP systems.

- Web Dynpro Development : Develop and enhance Web Dynpro applications, using ABAP Web Dynpro for creating user interfaces (UIs) and integrating them with SAP backend processes.

- BADIs Implementation : Work on Business Add-In (BADI) implementation for custom enhancements to standard SAP applications, ensuring the flexibility of Web Dynpro applications and forms.

- Forms Development : Create and maintain Smartforms, Adobe Interactive Forms, and other customized form solutions, ensuring they meet functional and business requirements.

2. SAP ECC and S/4HANA Implementation :

- End-to-End Project Experience : Contribute to at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects (preferably SAP ECC or S/4HANA) with a focus on ABAP Web Dynpro development.

- Cloud or On-premise Experience : Work on SAP S/4HANA (cloud or on-premise) implementations, including integration with other modules and optimizing the Web Dynpro development for seamless user experience.

- Project Customization : Customize SAP functionalities based on business needs, ensuring proper integration of RICEFW objects into the SAP landscape.

3. Experience in Manufacturing or Automotive Industry :

- Industry-Specific Solutions : Leverage prior experience working in Manufacturing or Automotive industries to develop solutions that align with industry-specific processes and challenges.

- Support Engagements : Provide SAP support in manufacturing or automotive environments, addressing technical issues and enhancements, and collaborating with business users to resolve them effectively.

4. Web/Forms Techniques Using Latest Technologies :

- Cutting-Edge Tools : Stay updated on the latest Web Dynpro and forms-related technologies, applying innovative solutions and ensuring that the development aligns with current industry standards.

- Responsive UIs : Design and implement responsive user interfaces using Web Dynpro ABAP, ensuring optimal functionality across devices and platforms.

5. Adaptability to New Technologies :

- Self-Learning : Quickly grasp new SAP technologies and tools, independently learning new applications and technical concepts to stay ahead in the evolving SAP landscape.

- Continuous Improvement : Actively explore new technologies that enhance existing Web Dynpro solutions or improve overall system performance.

6. Customer-Facing Roles & Communication :

- Client Interaction : Engage with customers to understand requirements, front-end discussions, and present designs of RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) in a clear and comprehensive manner.

- Stakeholder Management : Coordinate with functional consultants, project managers, and other team members to ensure that customer requirements are met and communicated effectively.

7. Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills :

- Troubleshooting : Leverage strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, debug ABAP/Web Dynpro applications, and implement corrective actions.

- Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Web Dynpro applications and forms to ensure efficiency and scalability of the solution.

8. Teamwork and Collaboration :

- Collaborative Work Environment : Work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with various stakeholders, such as developers, functional consultants, and business users, to ensure timely delivery.

- Knowledge Sharing : Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, mentoring junior team members, and assisting in the development of best practices.

9. Archiving Experience :

- Data Archiving : Design and implement data archiving solutions for SAP systems, ensuring that old or unnecessary data is archived properly to optimize system performance and comply with data retention policies.

- Integration with SAP Modules : Ensure that archiving is integrated with other SAP modules to maintain consistency and data integrity.

10. Work Schedule & Availability :

- Shift Timing : Available for shift work from 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM, supporting the project needs and customer requirements during those hours.

- Immediate Availability : Available to join the project immediately or within a 15-day notice period.
