Lead Data Scientist

Role:

In this role, you will lead the charge in harnessing the power of Large Language Models (LLMs) to revolutionize Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a particular emphasis on the healthcare domain. Your responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing state-of-the-art fine-tuning techniques, maintaining robust production-grade inference pipelines, and developing domain-specific knowledge bases to optimize model performance. Additionally, you will stay at the forefront of LLM research, contributing to internal tooling and infrastructure development, and effectively communicating technical concepts within the team and to stakeholders. Utilizing cloud services and ML Ops tools, you will manage pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability across various cloud platforms such as Google Cloud AI Platform, Amazon SageMaker, or Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM fine-tuning techniques for specific tasks and applications.
• Develop and maintain production-grade LLM inference pipelines.
• Develop domain specific knowledge base for LLM (Vector Store, Knowledge Graph, structured data, multimodal data)
• Monitor and analyze LLM performance, identify and address potential biases and fairness issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in LLM research and development.
• Contribute to the development of internal tooling and infrastructure for LLM development and deployment.
• Document and communicate LLM technical concepts to a broader audience.
• Skill Set: ML, NLP, DL, Python, LLM, LSTM, Data Extraction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• In-depth knowledge of deep learning architectures, particularly transformers.
• Experience with LLM frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud AI Platform, Amazon SageMaker, or Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• Background in healthcare, with prior work at major healthcare companies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
