Quality Engineer - Final Inspection (Carbon Sheet Unit)

Role & responsibilities

• Final Inspection: Oversee and conduct the final inspection of products to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
• QMS Compliance: Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and internal processes, including maintaining records and documentation in line with ISO standards.
• APQP Process: Apply APQP principles to ensure quality is integrated at each stage of the production process, from product design to production.
• Instrument Handling: Utilize and calibrate precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM machines, etc.) to verify product specifications and tolerances.
• Quality Documentation: Prepare and review quality documents, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective/preventive action plans.
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Identify root causes of quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve quality control processes, product quality, and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma Graduates preferred
• Should have strong knowledge of sheet metal and its quality parameters
• MS Office
