Senior Officer - Procurement

We at SUN PHARMA are hiring for a Senior Officer - Procurement role at our Mumbai - Andheri office.

Below are the roles and responsibilities of the position.

Experience

4-5 years in Pharmaceutical industry ONLY

Key responsibilities:

• Procurement of Raw Material (Excipients) required for entire Formulation at Multiple sites across Globe.
• Converting PRs to PO within stipulated time frame
• To ensure un-interrupted supply of Excipients.
• Preparation of Monthly MIS Reports.
• Knowledge of SAP SYSTEM (MM Module).
• Proper planning to achieve KRA / Goals.
• Short Term / Long Term Contract
• Developing new vendor to reduce cost & to achieve the saving targets
• Arranging Qualified Vendor Documents & Samples for Alternate Vendor development.
• Inventory control of Raw materials, working on Non / slow moving Raw materials
• Negotiating and procuring Excipients at most economic prices, at prescribed delivery schedules & adherence of quality norms.

Operational Profile:

• To plan raw material procurement in line with the plant requirement.
• JIT to reduce inventory carrying cost and obsolescence.
• Alternate Vendor Development
• Working in tandem with QC, R & D and regulatory teams for new product development & alternate source.
• Co-ordination with Plants, Accounts dept and Vendors to resolve issues and other delays in supplies and payments
• Inventory control through safety stock maintenance.
• Adequate knowledge about Sourcing the raw materials from the right source
• Arranging Qualified Vendor Documents (PAQ/TA/TSE-BSE etc.) for QA Department
