Senior Engineer ( Power Electronics & Drive )

We are hiring for Power electronics & Drive professional's @ KONE. ITEC Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities:

4-5 years Expertise in Power electronics & Drive
1. Product change management for KONE Drives
2. Manage tasks such as Power electronics Component Selection, validation, design improvement, quality improvements, cost down activities.
3. Ensuring Business Continuity
4. Plan, execute, analyze and document the testing and verification method of power electronics components.
5. Give technical support to other Stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills
 Deep technical knowledge about PMSM, Induction Machine controls & Power converter/ Inverters controls of Drives
2. Experience in Drive design(including PCBA level), power electronics component selection, PCBA Analysis, testing and validation.
3. Experience in EMC/EMI testing & trouble shooting.
4. Root cause analysis techniques for addressing issues in Electrical components and circuits. Experience in real cases are needed
5. Exposure to International Standards like EN, IEC, IPC etc. related to Electrical components is needed.   
6. CR Process and Quality & Corrective action Process Knowledge Preferred
7. Hands on experience in Product change management is preferred
Required Tools / Software Knowledge :
Experienced in handling power measurement tool ( MSO, PQ meter )
Experience in handling Software analysis (Drive Debugger) tool adds advantage
