Vice President/Chief Operating Officer - Operations

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

- Oversee end-to-end production processes, ensuring adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance.

- Manage supply chain, procurement, and inventory to ensure optimal availability of raw materials and finished goods.

- Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to support new product development and regulatory approvals.

- Implement automation, digitalization, and lean manufacturing practices to optimize operations.

- Ensure regulatory compliance with local and global standards (e.g., FDA, WHO, EU GMP, ISO).

- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.

- Lead and mentor teams across production, quality control, and supply chain management.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders.

- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to ensure high performance and quick resolution of bottlenecks.

- Drive sustainability initiatives and ensure environmental and safety compliance in manufacturing processes.
