Product - Deputy Manager

Role and Responsibilities

The said role is responsible for product management activities which include:

• Product line management through all share class including AIF/ETF
• Product governance
• Revenue optimisation
• Sales support
• Specific Project

Key Task

• Adapt new products to suit evolving market situation and long-term business plan of the company.
• Product Launches: Identifying the product gap, conducting research on the product idea, testing the viability of the product, developing the infrastructure required to launch the product, getting internal approvals to launch the product, filing the product with regulatory authorities, offering sales support post product launch
• Product line consolidation Restructuring, merger & winding up.
• Changes in the product attributes as per evolving marketing situations, regulatory changes etc.
• Managing the FMP book / SIP Book
• Ensuring adherence to the statutory requirements in all products/ product communication.
• Pricing, analysis of the impact on P & L due to brokerages, dividend declaration etc.
• Support to sales team by timely communication regarding launch of the products, modification of the attributes in the existing products, providing information as required by the sales team etc.

Cross functional areas:

Compliance

• Complying with the regulatory requirements & incorporating any changes in regulations as prescribed by the concerned authorities from time to time.
• Creating & updating KIM.
• Providing inputs to compliance in creating certain regulatory documents (SID, addendum etc.)

Investments

• Taking inputs from investment team for product development & management (views on new products, mergers, reports, inputs for pitch books etc.

Risk

• Taking inputs from risk team for product development & management (views on new products, mergers, changes in the regulations etc.

Operations

• Providing information to the team regarding new launches or changes in the existing products for their further action.
• Taking their feedback regarding processes before implementing initiatives (e.g.: dividend transfer plan)

Sales

• Giving product related support to the sales team
• Analyse sales team feedback
• Should be fully conversant with SEBI guidelines.
