Manager Design - Architect

Roles and Responsibilities

Create design as per the brief and collaborate with BD team for client management.

Lead and manage design research activities to support product development process

Analyze and synthesize research findings to generate actionable insights and recommendations for design and product teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure research findings are effectively incorporated into the design and development process

Establish and maintain research protocols and standards

Develop research methodologies and best practices for conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies

Implement and manage research tools and resources to streamline research processes and enhance efficiency

Stay up-to-date with current design research trends, advancements, and industry best practices to continuously improve research capabilities

Provide guidance and mentorship to design researchers

Foster a culture of innovation and excellence in design research within the team

Train and mentor junior researchers on research methodologies, techniques, and analysis processes

Review and provide feedback on research plans, reports, and deliverables to ensure high-quality and impactful research output

Collaborate with stakeholders to drive user-centered design thinking

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their research needs and objectives

Translate research objectives into actionable research plans and studies

Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management, effectively communicating insights and influencing decision-making

Contribute to the overall design strategy and vision

Participate in cross-functional design strategy meetings to provide design research insights and recommendations

Collaborate with the design team to inform design decisions based on user insights and research findings

Contribute to the development and improvement of design processes and methodologies

Stay updated on industry trends and innovations

Participate in relevant conferences, seminars, and industry events to keep abreast of latest developments in design research and related fields

Network with professionals in the design research community to exchange knowledge and insights

Continuously research and explore new tools and techniques that can enhance the effectiveness and impact of design research activities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field

Proven experience in design research or a similar role

Strong knowledge of research methodologies, tools, and techniques

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in data analysis and visualization using relevant software

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Creative mindset and a passion for user-centered design
