Job Title: Manager of US Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Taxation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organization as the Manager of US Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Taxation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance for our company's US operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to accounting standards and regulations, and maximizing tax efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of US accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and taxation laws.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall financial accounting and reporting activities for the company's US operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Supervise the bookkeeping function, including monitoring and reviewing the recording of financial transactions, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns (income tax, sales tax, property tax, etc.).
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and proactively communicate and implement any necessary adjustments to the company's tax strategies and processes.
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Perform financial analysis, identify areas for cost reduction or process improvement, and make recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in US accounting, bookkeeping, and taxation, preferably in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience in preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Strong understanding of US taxation laws, regulations, and filing requirements, including federal, state, and local taxes.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems (QuickBooks, etc.).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing accounting professionals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
