INDUSTRIAL SAFETY OFFICER:

11.1. Conduct Safety audits for new equipments at installation stage & reporting of
non-conformances.
11.2. Conduct shop floor inspection studies for Personal Protective Equipment adherence.
11.3. Responsible for monitoring ambient air quality [6 months], Lux level [3 months] & noise level [3 months] to meet the statutory compliance.
11.4. Accident investigations, reporting suggestions, preventive measures & follow up.
11.5. Establish & enforce safety rules. Conduct safety committee meeting with employees.
11.6. Work place hazard identification, risk assessment for machineries & equipments.
11.7. Conduct mock drill, safety training to employees.
11.8. Periodical checking of fire evacuation charts & updating same.
11.9. Make arrangement for servicing/calibration of material handling equipments, pressure vessels & fire extinguishers.
11.10. Develop safety training modules.
11.11. Conduct PPE, chemical handling & environmental training to the employees.
11.12. Identify & eliminate unsafe conditions to prevent accidents.
11.13. Liaison with statutory authorities [Inspector of factory, controller of Explosives].
11.14. Periodic Inspection of emergency equipments like fire extinguisher, exit lights, emergency lights.
11.15. Periodic inspection of first aid box at all floors.
15.15 To evacuate all children during emergency situation.
