JOB ROLE: (General Manager - For Rigid Packaging Division):

- Responsible for leading and overseeing the operational and business functions within the division.

- This role demands a combination of technical acumen, customer relationship, management experience and strong leadership skills to ensure business growth and achieve organizational goals.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

- Provide strategic direction for the Rigid Packaging Division in alignment with the overall company goals.

- Identify new business opportunities within the rigid packaging sector, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders especially at owner level or General Manager level.

- Build constant relation at higher level with OEM, supplier of equipment and industrial solutions, competitors, brand owner, bottlers.

- Identify opportunities for new product development, machine models and services to better meet the demands of the Indian market.

- Provide strategic business advisory, oversee account management and conduct in-depth business and market analysis to drive growth and align with market needs.

- Collaborate with sales, after sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for market penetration and customer satisfaction.

- Oversee and coordinate the commercial operations to ensure alignment with the team and business objectives.

- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

- Mentor and develop leadership within the division, ensuring transparent communication and professional growth.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance response efficiency, optimize problem-solving capabilities and elevate customer satisfaction.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting progress, operational updates and key performance metrics to the headquarters in Italy, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL: BE Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics

DESIRABLE: Diploma/ Degree in Management with marketing as specialization

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

ESSENTIAL:

- 15 - 25 years in BEVERAGE / Rigid Packaging / Engineering / Service Industries / Automation / Automobile

- Experience in all aspects of sales & marketing of industrial machinery.

- Technical skills

- Proven experience in customer relation management

- Good exposure in managing big team and people management

DESIRABLE:

- Relevant product and industry knowledge

- Experience of handling and managing 100 people in an organisation

- Experience with relevant software applications like SAP, CRM
