Transport Manager (Hygiene & Home care division)

Job Description:

- Development new and management of existing transporters

- Arranging and management of trucks daily basis for smooth operation without any delay/leg

- Tracking and closure of the delivery status

- Daily MIS and on dispatch and delivery status with % of completion of deliveries within TAT and which go beyond TAT

- Conflict resolution on day to day operation with transporters

- Damage/Shortage claim handling without any deviation

- Route planning and optimization for day to day movement of the trucks

- Reduction in overall freight cost and tracking of the same on monthly basis

Skills requirement:

- Must have experience of managing at least 10-15 transporters with multiple locations

- Must have experience to conduct due diligence of new transporters

- Must have experience handling the claims of damage and shortage of goods

- Need to lead the entire process alone to streamline dispatch without deviation

- Exposure with excel and MIS
