Powertrain Components CAD Design - CATIA V5, 3DX, Teamcenter, GDT and Stack-up

Domain knowledge

BE/ME Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 4 to 6 Years of experience in powertrain components (Engine or Transmission)

Strong Hands-on experience in CAD Modeling, New drawing creation, Vehicle Packaging, Stack -up Analysis & Engineering Change management

Proven ability in GDT, PLM Tools/Methods

Must be Strong in Stack up Analysis Concepts with real time application in projects
(Linear/Fastener/Axial/Radial)

Exposure to VSA is an added advantage

should be Proficient in Microsoft office tools

Job Description

Creation of New Engine Component and Assembly drawings for Prototype/Initial release (Casting, machining, Molding, forming, stamping etc.,)
Packaging, Clearance/Interference and Design rule checks for Powertrain/Vehicle components
Design proposals and CAD Remastering of powertrain components
Perform Stack-up Analysis (linear, axial/radial & fastener) for Powertrain Systems and sub systems
3D Model and Drawing updates as per Engineering Change requests
Drawing Prints checking as per Ford Drafting Standards
Creation and Maintenance of Powertrain assemblies using CAD/PLM tools
Candidate should have Good Presentation & communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
Need to take Ownership and responsibilities to deliver the Project tasks with Time Management
Should have Good Analytical Skills
