It Support Engineer

Position : IT Support Engineer

Experience : 1+Years

Location : PAN India

Job Objective:
Provide technical field support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral troubleshooting, ensuring smooth operation. Offer first-level support for applications, antivirus management, and asset management while coordinating with vendors for hardware/software-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve user issues for desktops, laptops, and IT peripherals.
• Manage antivirus client (e-scan) and troubleshoot virus-related incidents.
• Install and maintain software based on user category and business requirements.
• Provide first-level support for client-specific applications (e.g., SAP, SharePoint).
• Track and manage IT asset database, including warranty tracking and asset movement.
• Ensure compliance with software installation policies and avoid unauthorized software.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support and IMAC requests.
• Configure and support Windows OS, client FTP, SSH, DNS, DHCP, AD, O365, Azure, etc.
• Offer Helpdesk services for incident management, troubleshooting, and coordination.
• Ensure timely ticket closure and issue resolution with end-user feedback.
• Generate and deliver periodic MIS reports on call status, asset database, and more.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Expertise in Windows OS (7, 8, 10, etc.) and networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, FTP, etc.).
• Experience with antivirus management, system patching, and updates.
• Strong troubleshooting, project management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.
• Good communication skills for managing user interactions and service desk operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in IT support, Helpdesk services, and asset management.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, client software installation, and system configurations.
