Job Description
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Oversee all dealer accounting activities, including accounts receivable and payable, dealer commissions, and reconciliation of dealer accounts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal policies. Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to align financial strategies with business goals. Support the development of pricing strategies and financial models.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments. Optimize working capital and manage debt obligations.
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide training and development opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and the board of directors. Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives clearly and effectively.
- Support long-term strategic planning by providing financial insights and analysis. Participate in the development of business strategies and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes. Implement new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
