Job Description

As part of the Commercial Engineering organization, you will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, energetic, and high performing team at the heart of the Thomson Reuters transformation to developing modernized applications and services. This group is nimble, creative and shapes our technology roadmap. This role will be instrumental to enabling the current and future world of the digital experience at Thomson Reuters. You will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proof of concepts to delivery against existing and future needs of our customers.

About the role:

Familiar with cloud (preference to AWS) using API management tools (preference to Dell Boomi and Apigee) is desired
Familiar with backend systems such as SalesForce, Apttus, CIAM, Entitlements, and SAP is an asset
Be able to collaborate and work with cross functional teams, technical experts, Architects, developers, and 3rd parties to deliver the solution
Be able to provide technical expertise and complete code reviews in a timely manner to ensure code standards, completeness, and quality
Familiar with technical estimation techniques and practices is an asset
Knowledge of the Agile process and experience working in an Agile environment
eCommerce knowledge with a focus of customer acquisition and commerce transactions is desired.

About you:

6+ years of experience in the field of Business Systems and IT including experience with design, development, and integration of applications, services, and data
Experience building components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Be able to lead a team in the building of aesthetical, functional, and responsive web-based applications using Adobe AEM, modern user interfaces, industry best practices and standards
Proficiency in customizing and extending AEM functionality using technologies like Java, HTL (HTML Template Language), CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies used in AEM development
Experience integrating Adobe AEM applications with various third-party systems and platforms using integration methods like web services, XML/HTTP, REST HTML, APIs and/or microservices
Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) platforms and techniques like headless content, multi site management, multilingualism, and localization.
