Financial Analytics and will report to the Director of Pricing. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to strategic decision- making and to the success of our sales and client retention efforts.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
Analyze complex claims data sets to complete pricing exercises and data requests including claims summary, pricing terms, exclusions, and benefit design changes etc.
Apply the appropriate pricing and rebate terms for each account; understandingthe options and implications for each PBM offered including formulary, retail and specialty networks, maintenance and Clinical program selections, fees, plan tier structure, member size, drug utilization, and government regulations.
Ability to read and interpret client contractual documents to verify applicable pricing and rebate terms and conditions.
Provide claims files and draft a client ready email upon request.
Provide formulary and network disruption reports, as well as other reporting relevant to the role. This may include both adhoc and standard monthly/quarterly reporting.
Support new business as well as client retention efforts.
Collaborate with the Proposal, Deal Governance and Account Management teams and other stakeholders as required.
Prepare for and attend all stakeholder calls as the pricing Subject Matter Expert(SME), serving as the primary point-person for pricing and communicating technical subjects clearly and concisely.
Clearly communicate milestones and deliverables to all interested parties.
Complete accurate pricing responses within specified timelines for on-time delivery.
Assist in enhancing and maintaining standard pricing responses, methodology, process documents, trackers, templates, and libraries
Understand relevant market, industry, and competitive information.
Maintain the highest standard of quality for all company materials.
Required Skills / Experience :
Strong analytical, pricing, and modeling experience required.
1-3 years PBM or Health industry experience required, Commercial experience preferred.
PBM pricing and RFP experience preferred.
Process oriented with the ability to maintain project timelines and stakeholder engagement.
Strong communication and organization skills required.
Advanced MS Excel user (pivot tables, etc.) required, SAS/SQL experience preferred
SalesForce experience preferred.
Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, or commiserate experience
