Job Description : Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant

Job Type : 6 Months Contract to hire

Locations : Noida/Pune/Chennai

As a Senior Functional Consultant for Oracle Cloud Financials, you will play a pivotal role in leading key client initiatives focused on the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, Fusion Tax, AP, AR, CM), while also having a strong understanding of O2C and P2P cycles to drive Finance Transformation and Innovation. This role requires collaboration with client finance leadership and subject matter experts to architect and implement optimal solutions using Oracle Cloud Financials for major finance transformations.

Job Responsibilities :

- Lead the assessment, design, implementation, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Financials.

- Collaborate with client stakeholders to execute all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment following the Oracle Unified Method (OUM).

- Architect solution options based on Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities to address business requirements and pain points.

- Ensure high-quality documentation of functional and technical solution designs for review and approval.

- Configure Oracle Cloud Financials modules (GL, Fusion Tax, AP, AR, CM) in alignment with business requirements.

- Develop custom solutions across Reports, Integrations, Conversions, and Extensions.

- Manage the continuous development of industry-specific accelerators for faster delivery.

- Mentor and upskill team members to build a leading financial transformation team.

- Expand expertise into other technology ecosystems beyond Oracle.

- Track and resolve functional and technical issues during implementation.

- Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) from initiation to resolution.

- Drive scalable solutions for complex business challenges.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, including 2-3 full-lifecycle implementations.

- 10+ years of experience with Oracle ERP Financials (GL, Fusion Tax, AP, AR, CM).

- Strong expertise in the Accounting-to-Reporting (A2R) workstream.

- Oracle Financials Cloud (General Ledger) Certified Professional (preferred).

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and high pressure situations.

- Hands-on experience with UAT cycles, user training, and documentation.

- Ability to coordinate with test teams for test execution cycles.

- Experience in training end users and supporting business operations post-go-live.

- Self-motivated to achieve high standards of service, implementation excellence, and on-time delivery.

- Willingness to travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications :

- M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA, ICWA, or ACCA.
