About the Position The Manager - Research and Insights will play a crucial role in driving research and insights across the CSRBOX Group. This role involves conducting in-depth research on emerging areas of social impact, including climate change, technology, and sustainable development, to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making. The incumbent will also lead a team of Research Associates and fulfill on-demand research requirements for the organization and its clients.
Responsibilities Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the social impact sector, including climate change, technology, and sustainable development.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities for the CSRBOX Group.
- Conduct desk research, interviews, surveys, and other data collection methods to gather relevant information.
- Analyze and interpret research data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
Project Support:
- Lead and manage research projects for clients, including needs assessments, impact evaluations, and market research.
- Develop research methodologies, collect and analyze data, and prepare comprehensive research reports.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of research findings.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of Research Associates, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Knowledge Management:
- Develop and maintain a knowledge repository of research findings, best practices, and industry trends.
- Disseminate research findings through presentations, reports, and publications.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Present research findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Address client queries and provide ongoing support.
- Masters degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in research, data analysis, and report writing.
- Strong academic record with a minimum of 60% throughout their academic career.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R).
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams is preferred.
