About the Position

The Associate Manager Communication and Advocacy will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organization s communication strategies. This individual will be responsible for ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across internal and external channels. The role requires a dynamic communicator who can effectively manage media relations, develop content, and execute campaigns that enhance the company s reputation and visibility.

Responsibilities

Communication Strategy Development:

Develop and implement communication strategies that support organizational goals, brand identity, and key initiatives.
Identify target audiences and tailor messaging to engage them effectively, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.

Content Creation and Management:

Oversee the creation of diverse content, including press releases, speeches, newsletters, blog posts, and social media updates.
Manage content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of key messages across multiple platforms.

Internal Communications:

Support internal communication efforts by creating and sharing information with employees about organizational updates, changes, and achievements.
Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure clear and engaging communication on company policies, events, and news.

Crisis Communication and Reputation Management:

Assist in developing crisis communication plans and responding to issues that may affect the organization s reputation.
Monitor public sentiment and media coverage to identify potential risks and proactively address them.

Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives, using data to inform future strategies.
Report on key performance metrics, providing insights to improve communication efforts and demonstrate impact.

Strategic Communications:

To design various collaterals (monthly newsletters, centre exhibits, brochures, annual reports etc.) required for the organization and keep them updated
Online Presence: Manage the CSRBOX brand presence through: NGO portal listings, articles on relevant blogs, partnerships with various agencies

Offline Marketing Branding:

Media: Cultivate relationships with traditional media outlets and online media to co-publish articles
Design and share press kits with the media during any events or launch of any new initiative or training programs
Manage press inquiries and write press releases as required
Event Support: Design and implement brand representation for events where CSRBOX is represented and programme events.

Measurement and Reporting:

Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts.
Prepare reports and presentations on communication activities and outcomes.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum 2 year of experience in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for communication.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of media monitoring tools and data analytics is a plus.
