Job brief

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Monitoring Manager to join our Asset Management Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the performance of our installed assets, minimizing losses, and maintaining optimal efficiency against installed capacity. This role will involve analyzing data to identify trends, develop insights, and guide site teams in implementing corrective actions when necessary. Additionally, the role will contribute to product development initiatives and address ad-hoc data requirements as they arise.

Responsibilities

1. Manage energy analysis and generation loss for utility-scale solar plants, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

2. Lead projects from the ground level to develop new monitoring and analytical platforms for enhanced performance monitoring.

3. Provide solutions by analyzing historic data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.

4. Prepare timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, including energy loss management analysis and recommendations.

5. Track PPA compliance by assessing energy yield against contractual obligations.

6. Conduct periodic site visits to assess data-driven results, validate performance against actual site conditions, and identify site-specific challenges.

7. Utilize various technological solutions to address challenges and drive value creation for the organization.

8. Take a site-specific approach to troubleshooting and provide guidance to resolve device-level underperformance issues.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and maintenance to implement solutions and drive continuous improvement.
